Academic Language Week 27 - Drug-Sniffing Dogs

School officals do not have the right to use drug sniffing drogs to search the school. One reason is that the school might feel as if the drug dog company is AMUSING that their school might contain drugs. Another reason is that  the students might RESPOND to the dogs with an allergic reaction.  Additionally it can be a overwhelming PROCESS for the kids. In conclusion drug sniffing should not be necassary in schol officals eyes.

Testing Thoughts Paragraph

I feel nervous on taking the exam tommarow because I feel like they would throw new things at us.  I know that I have to study very hard, but not to hard.  I am a little concerned that I might not get that high of a grade.  I am confident that I'll try my best. When I get my scores back from the cahsee I hope I'm satisfied.

The last time I saw her I could not fathom but smile
        and
wonder if I would see her in a while
  The first look I had was into her eyes
       it seems
as if they caught me by surprise
  The glare from her eyes had me
mesmerized
       I heard
a smack in her voice
   I had no choice but to rejoice
       forcing
myself not holding back
   The pressure in my chest feels like a heart attack
     gasping for every
breath I need a lending hand

Academic Language Week 25 - Concealed Handguns

Adults should have the right to carry a concealed handgun. One reason is because a person wouldn't want to be ESTABLISHED to trouble when they can easily get their way out of it. Another reason is to JUSTIFY the fact that when you run into a serious situation you might need that extra support to help you carry on with your issue. In conclusion when adults have possesion of a gun, it could always be for the safest outcome.
