Portfolio - Future

I feel scared for how the future will unfold. When I am done with high school I would want to be excepted to a 4 year college due to great grades and awesome learning skills. Either I would want to go to college for performing arts, helping kids, or massage therapy. During the time I was growing up I was entered in different dancing and singing activities for a long time. This has helped me to prepare and get the practice I need for the future. I will continue to work on things that might have a great effect on what I will do later in life. 

Portfolio - Improvement

Over the past two years, I have improved in certain sections of schoolwork. I had great writing skills due to the fact that my teachers would encourage me to do better, and/or if I asked for help.  My level of reading was taken more seriously throughout middle school because I would have to read out loud to the classroom. This helped me to be more comfortable as I read. I will continue to take more action in what needs to be done to improve my grade for the next two years.

Portfolio - My Educational Experiences

Due to my educational experiences, currently I have a better understanding of organization. Throughout my elementary career I was required to have a neat binder that was divided by each subject. I learned to become more independent by putting classwork papers in their correct section of my binder. As a sophomore in high school I feel I meet the standards of an organized student. With hard work an determination you can learn to meet a great goal.

End of Year Reflection – Greatest High School Obstacle

An obstacle that has a hold on me is having  a bold approach to the judge about an important issue. When my sister and I were in a foster home in Ramona my Freshman year, it was hard to talk about the things that carried on around the house. My foster mom would get out of hand with a slight drinking issue every now and then. We decided that we couldn't handle it anymore, and that the verbal abuse and the fact that we took care of her while she was under the influence was not okay. The judge asked us questions and we answered them honestly, or our thoughts were brought to the judge. When the drinking toned down a little bit, we felt more comfortable around our surroundings and less stressed. This past experience helped me become more mature and smart on how I should approach certain situations.

Changes Since Freshman Year

When I was a freshman, I was more motivated in my work. Now, I am less motivated due to the place I am at. For example, I think I had a better chance of getting looked at by great colleges at my public shooling last year. In addition, I need to remember that I should try hard everywhere I go, because somplace, somewhere, I will get looked at by many colleges. By my senior year, I hope to be accepted by a university, a performing arts school, or a massage trade school.

SPA Policy Blog Paragraph

One policy that I wished could be changed is the timely schedule we have for everything. Currently this policy states that we need to be directed in everything we do. One reason it should be changed is because it gets boring and old after a while doing the same 'ol thing everyday. Also, I would like to feel like I can be responsible and decide what times are good for me to do what I need to do. If this policy was changed I would feel more dependent on myself and what I need to get done.

Academic Update Blog Paragraph

My career goal is to become a Masseuse. This job involves physical soothing to another human beings body to relax their muscles and mind. I want to do this because I want to make people feel good physically and mentally. I will achieve this goal by reading books on the subject, paying attention in school, asking former masseuse for their advice, and staying focused. I will remain motivated to become a masseust by keeping myself motivated and never failing to try.

Prom 2012 Blog Post

When we arrived at Sea World I thought that I was going to break my ankles because my heals were hearting me so bad king of how nice it was for these people to put this all together for the students of S.P.A. During diner, I kind of  didn't know what to do so I just picked a table and sat at it, I also took pictures. While I was danceing I had a good time, and it brought my spirit really up. By the end of the night, I sang songs the whole way home. THE END.

Trayvon Martin Paragraph

George Zimmerman should be charged with murder for shooting Trayvon Martin. For example, Trayvon had nothing in his posession that would have harmed him. This shows that, Zimmererman has no evidence and proof that Martin was a threat. This also shows that he wasn't doing that well of a job watching the neighborhood when he's the one doing crime in it. Additionally a racist slur was made by Zimmerman when the crime was committed. This shows that he had every intension to not feel guilty for what he know what he did was wrong. It is important for teenagers to follow this story because you should always watch your surroundings and be aware of the people you live around.

Rain, Vacation, or Zombies vs Vampires Blog Post Paragraph

Rainy days are relaxing. For example you can stay from work in the warmth. Additionally you can catch up on movies you had to sat aside. This shows that you can get your alone time with that significant person you love. The next time it rains you will be able to prepare activities for the day.  

Testing Thoughts Paragraph

I feel nervous on taking the exam tommarow because I feel like they would throw new things at us.  I know that I have to study very hard, but not to hard.  I am a little concerned that I might not get that high of a grade.  I am confident that I'll try my best. When I get my scores back from the cahsee I hope I'm satisfied.

Technology in School Paragraph

Teachers use technology to help me get ready. For example in sixth grade my teacher would make us type all of our essays on the computer. It helped because we at least had experience on paper and on the computer.  Also in freshman year, my teacher taught a complete tech class and she made use write notes to not forget the things we do and learn on the computer. It helped because when I was in front of the computer the next time and needed help I could easily look at my helpful notes. In addition, in my sophomore year, my teacher made and still makes use do every single assignment on the computer, no pencils needed. It helps me because I know a lot of my classes are going to be like this in college so I'm just getting very good practice. Future teachers can help their students by letting them write, use technology, and talking time with them.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 12: Veterans Day

I honestly don't think that I'd be intrested in joining any force that serves this country. I feel like it would just be a waste of my time, and I'd probably be to scared. I appreciate the fact that my aunt served in the navy for about ten years. This shows that she's pround of the place she's born in, so I can understand why she would want to serve in the military. If I was to be in a position were I had to choose I would choose the,  Coast Guard because I would want to be around the place that I live.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 11: Sports & Grades

Student athletes should not be required to have good grades to play sports. One reason is anything their learning in a class should'nt have to do with them playing a sport. Another reason is they don't need school intelligents as much as they need the sport intelligents. In ordeer to help student athletes, schools should let them know what their boundries are when it comes to playing a sport.

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 10: Homecoming

Homecoming week at San Pasqual was pretty fun, I enjoyed everyones enthusiasim. The spirit days were good cause I got to see everyones spirit. For example I saw a poncho with leg warmers. The pep assembly was great. It was great because I performed with my step team. The football game was fun. For example, watching my team, on a homecoming day. The dance was ok, I had to make it fun. Compared to a typical week at SPA, this week made me feel fun.

Would You Rather?

I would rather get caught singing in the mirror then spyeing on my crush. One reason is because I would not want to be embarrased. Additionally they would think that I am less of a wierdo if I was to be singing in the bathroom. One last reason I hope that anything of this choice would ever come up.

Dragons Den: Campus Donations

The people that donate money to San Pasqual academy makes me feel loved. They have done things for us such as, taking us to charger games, making our christmas a blast, and aslo exploring nature. When I see these people I try to greet them with kindness, obedience, and love.

If someone were to push me to try to become a prodigy piano player I would'nt like the pressure. It would make me not want to work because I'd be pressured. I'd sit down with my gaurdian and tell them how this makes me feel. The pressure of this will make me harmed because I wouldn't want to be in this state.

"Two Kinds" Before You Read: Something You Don't Want to Do

I remember the day when I came back from Atlanta for summer, arriving back to my home unpacking clothes. I was shocked with the news that I had to come to San Pasqual Academy. I felt supprised and that my Foster mother was abandoning me. Then, it seems as though I was coming to a place I had not none of. When it was all over I was not as mad as I thought I'd be. I felt relieved from being in that home.
