Dia de los Muertos - Pick a Person

I plan to construct a Dia los Muertos alter about Aaliyah. Her main character trait is warm-hearted. This person is known for; singing, danceing, and acting. This persons appearance is beautiful, skinny, great smile, and bangs in front of her one eye. Others think this person is very sweet, goofy, and easy to get along with. This person is known for saying, " It's hard to say what I want my legacy to be when I'm long gone. This person thought that she had everything great for her. A few items that I may include in my alter to present this person are, pictures and I'm not sure what else.

“Two Kinds” Character Analysis Paragraph

In the story Two Kinds" Jing-mei is a very sassy little girl. Others would see her as not willing to do what she's told. "When i stood up, I discovered my legs were shaking" this is how she felt after her piano show. Jing-mei looks like a little girl with crinkly black fuzz on the top of her head. My character feels very pressured. She has a very sass talk and is seems to think she'll get her way a lot. My character in real life is braty as a normal child would act.

In the story, Two Kinds Jing-mei is a little braty girl. Her mother looks at her as being the Chinese Shirley Temple. "When I stood up, I discovered my less were shaking" is what she said after her piano show. Her hair was like crinkly black fuzz. Jing-mei felt like she was not good enough for her mom, and that she needed to rebell. She is a smart allec, and sassy. My character is like a normal child that does'nt know what they want.

"Two Kinds" Mother-Daughter Conflict

In the conflict between Jing-mei and her mother, her mother wants her to be a child prodigy and run her life. For example, Jing-mei's mother made her cut her hair to look like shirley Temple. This shows that, her mom wants her to be something she's not. This also shows that, her mother will get carried away of what she wants her daughter to be like. In addition her mother will begin to brag about Jing-mei. This shows that her mom is starting to get carried away. Jing-meis mother will soon to love her daughter for herself.

If someone were to push me to try to become a prodigy piano player I would'nt like the pressure. It would make me not want to work because I'd be pressured. I'd sit down with my gaurdian and tell them how this makes me feel. The pressure of this will make me harmed because I wouldn't want to be in this state.

"Two Kinds" Before You Read: Something You Don't Want to Do

I remember the day when I came back from Atlanta for summer, arriving back to my home unpacking clothes. I was shocked with the news that I had to come to San Pasqual Academy. I felt supprised and that my Foster mother was abandoning me. Then, it seems as though I was coming to a place I had not none of. When it was all over I was not as mad as I thought I'd be. I felt relieved from being in that home.

"Everyday Use" Before You Read: Tradition

Fifteen years from now, I will give my girl child my birthstone necklace. This tradition will symbylize the love and responsibility of my children and thier children's children. One of my happy memories of this tradition will be, seeing my child walking around with this peice of jewlery. It will make me happy and prideful. I will share this with my children by thier gender and behavior. By sharing this tradition with future generations, I hope it is respected.
