When I was beginning to be a part of my step team a time where I felt like I needed to prove a point. My goal was to get off of two-hour and make a good example for my team, I had to study hard, focus more in class, and ask teachers for help when needed. Academic Language Week 13 - Video Games

I think that violent games do not contribute to youth violence. Parents INTERPRET their kids actions and what they do all the time. The kids might have enough tolerence and are able to play a game, knowing their place in actual life. Another reson is that when kids invovle themselves in a game they have common sense in what games to pick. These are some reasons why I think that kids don;t get effected by violent video games.

The Storyteller" Another Point of View

I am so annoyed by these kids and them not corroporating. They didn't listen to me every time I said, "Don't, their remarkes would always be, "Why?" They did not like my stories. Dragons' Den First Semester Week 12: Veterans Day

I honestly don't think that I'd be intrested in joining any force that serves this country. I feel like it would just be a waste of my time, and I'd probably be to scared. I appreciate the fact that my aunt served in the navy for about ten years. This shows that she's pround of the place she's born in, so I can understand why she would want to serve in the military. If I was to be in a position were I had to choose I would choose the,  Coast Guard because I would want to be around the place that I live.

Once upon a time, in a castle far, far away , there was a plumber and a princess who were happily dateing. Suddenly, while they were taking a stroll in the forest they noticed a strange sound. In response, they weren't  scared at first until this overly large figure came out of the bush. Later this figure appeared as a turtle named Brandon that wanted to attack the princess. Dragons' Den First Semester Week 11: Sports & Grades

Student athletes should not be required to have good grades to play sports. One reason is anything their learning in a class should'nt have to do with them playing a sport. Another reason is they don't need school intelligents as much as they need the sport intelligents. In ordeer to help student athletes, schools should let them know what their boundries are when it comes to playing a sport.

Academic Language Week 11 - Health Care

Yes, I feel all Americans should have the right to free health care. Well to SUMMARIZE it, they might not have money. The EVIDENCE that people have for getting this treatment more easily is the fact that they're born here. The biggest ISSUE that people have are that they are more immune to the heatlh here, so when it comes up, It'll be easier to handle. These are some reasons why I feel as if America should have free health care. 

Dragons' Den First Semester Week 10: Homecoming

Homecoming week at San Pasqual was pretty fun, I enjoyed everyones enthusiasim. The spirit days were good cause I got to see everyones spirit. For example I saw a poncho with leg warmers. The pep assembly was great. It was great because I performed with my step team. The football game was fun. For example, watching my team, on a homecoming day. The dance was ok, I had to make it fun. Compared to a typical week at SPA, this week made me feel fun.

Dia de los Muertos - Pick a Person

I plan to construct a Dia los Muertos alter about Aaliyah. Her main character trait is warm-hearted. This person is known for; singing, danceing, and acting. This persons appearance is beautiful, skinny, great smile, and bangs in front of her one eye. Others think this person is very sweet, goofy, and easy to get along with. This person is known for saying, " It's hard to say what I want my legacy to be when I'm long gone. This person thought that she had everything great for her. A few items that I may include in my alter to present this person are, pictures and I'm not sure what else.

Academic Language Week 5 - Vaccinations

I think vaccinations should be required for all children. This is so because, if parents really ESTIMATE the POSITIVE things that it can do for kids in the futre for thier health then it really should'nt be a problem. Also parents should ILLUSTRATE out the things that could come out of what there putting their kids through. This is why I believe that kids should be vaccinated, to keep and maintain their health.

Frankie is a senior, and is very decieving, she does'nt look like she can act like that.
Jennifer is a senior, she's smart, she can help me with any computer or homewrok problem.

I think students should set their profiles as private. This is so because, they should be able to feel safe without someone creeping on them. Also they won't have all of their stuff out in the open, I also think that people don't know lots of people that look at their profiles. So I believe that students should be more careful and lock their profiles.

Would You Rather?

I would rather get caught singing in the mirror then spyeing on my crush. One reason is because I would not want to be embarrased. Additionally they would think that I am less of a wierdo if I was to be singing in the bathroom. One last reason I hope that anything of this choice would ever come up.

“Two Kinds” Character Analysis Paragraph

In the story Two Kinds" Jing-mei is a very sassy little girl. Others would see her as not willing to do what she's told. "When i stood up, I discovered my legs were shaking" this is how she felt after her piano show. Jing-mei looks like a little girl with crinkly black fuzz on the top of her head. My character feels very pressured. She has a very sass talk and is seems to think she'll get her way a lot. My character in real life is braty as a normal child would act.

In the story, Two Kinds Jing-mei is a little braty girl. Her mother looks at her as being the Chinese Shirley Temple. "When I stood up, I discovered my less were shaking" is what she said after her piano show. Her hair was like crinkly black fuzz. Jing-mei felt like she was not good enough for her mom, and that she needed to rebell. She is a smart allec, and sassy. My character is like a normal child that does'nt know what they want.

In the conflict between Jing-mei and her mother, her mother wants her to be a child prodigy and run her life. For example, Jing-mei's mother made her cut her hair to look like shirley Temple. This shows that, her mom wants her to be something she's not. This also shows that, her mother will get carried away of what she wants her daughter to be like. In addition her mother will begin to brag about Jing-mei. This shows that her mom is starting to get carried away. Jing-meis mother will soon to love her daughter for herself.

The people that donate money to San Pasqual academy makes me feel loved. They have done things for us such as, taking us to charger games, making our christmas a blast, and aslo exploring nature. When I see these people I try to greet them with kindness, obedience, and love.

"Everyday Use" Before You Read: Tradition

Fifteen years from now, I will give my girl child my birthstone necklace. This tradition will symbylize the love and responsibility of my children and thier children's children. One of my happy memories of this tradition will be, seeing my child walking around with this peice of jewlery. It will make me happy and prideful. I will share this with my children by thier gender and behavior. By sharing this tradition with future generations, I hope it is respected.

A life lesson I learned the hard way is judging people before I knew them. I used to think people that had a bigger body structure than me were mean and agressive. Then I met this girl who was of this discription, and we actually became best friends. I learned that this wasn't true and I should'nt judge a book by it's cover. Dragons Den: Power Outage

On Thursday evening, I was playing volleyball when suddenly I heard on the walkie talkie that the power went out. My response was kind of happy because we didn't have school the next day. Then I ate dinner in mid-darkness, it was quite annoying if you ask me. Later I sang songs in the dark and slept in the living room with my house. When the power came back on I was kind of irritated because the ceiling light was flashing dead in my eyes when it was 3:00 in the morning.

Wakeing up to my can sprayed breakfast in the year 2053. This year was the year that we would be coming out with the style new style model hubber card that flies and transports with a push of a button.! I believe this is how our lives will be in the future. We won't think about the causes and affects that it will have on our country. I think that America will selfish enough to do this. The moment in my life, at lunch today, when I recieved the information that Stephanie Daivs would be arriving I smiled very hard and was giggly with joy. She is my best, prettiest friend that I met at SPA camp. We clicked the moment we started hangen out. I thought that I would never see her again, but turns out I was wrong. My favorite brand of shoes are Sperry's. In case you have never seen them, they are low, kind of like the shape of vans but they are a more of a mocassin style. I do not wear these shoes on a regular bases because I dont have a pair. I wear shoes that are similar looking to Sperry's. I like these shoes because they can blend to different outfits and occasions.  If I were to see a friend wearing these shoes I would complement them and say I love there shoes.

A thing that is most valuble to me is my ring. I can not go anywhere without it. A ring to me is the perfect acsessary for anything and anywhere. My favorite ring is a ring I got from Claires. Its so beautiful its a feather with dimonds going down the center. This ring is also so important to me because it reminds me of my grandmother. It reminds me of my grandma because she is native american and the fever symbol just fits her. In the story, "The Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket" as Tom re-entered his apartment he was determained to reunite with his wife again. He showed that he will cares about his wife more than his job. He showed this because he does not hesitate to get himself ready to see her. Also the first thing that came to his head when he entered the apartment was his wife. As Tom saw the yellow paper start to fly away again, he didn't even care. Tom's whole attitude changed because he started to notice that his wife was more important to him then his job.

Response to Priester's Syllabus

I believe this year the mak-up policy will get me and keep me on task. I feel this way because not all the time people are determained to do there work, they get lazy. I will always do my work even though it may take me time. With this make-up policy I feel I can pass this class with less worries. This means to me that everyone should be on top of there game and not lagging in class because this policy will keep you motivated to do your work.

Fear Paragraph

When I was a little girl at the beach, me and my sisters were attacked by a flock of seagulls. As we were walking the shore of the ocean the seagulls were in the sky in a v-shape creation. They flew down at us as if we were food to them. I felt very scared and trapped because there was nowhere i can go they swarmed down at us to a point were it seemed as though we couldn't get out of there trap. This has changed the way I love the beach so much and how alert I am when it comes to me being around any type of birds, I'm smarter than that.

A color that represents me is purple. I am similar to this color because I am wierd person with a different kind of attitude then everyone else. This color represents my goofy side, and my loveing heart, I love to smile. This color is symbolic of  joy, happiness, and also calm. Movie Plot Summary Paragraph

In the movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas. In a place called Whoville an unstable creature named, The Grinch had bad experiences around Christmas time as a child, therefore he always hated Christmas and happiness. The conflict was between him and the town when he stole the Christmas presents. This brought sadness to the people and kept The Grinch isolated from Whoville, making him lonely. Cindy Lou Who was one person that The Grinch could call a friend. She was so intrested in knowing him and to learn about his childhood. Cindy Lou Who invited The Grinch to a great celebration, after he attended he appreciated her love for him. In the town of Whoville, every year at the Whobilation celebration a person will be picked as the Holiday cheermeister. After a series of encounters with Cindy Lou Who showing she cares about him leads up to the climax of The Grinch giving back Whoville Christmas.

First Day of School 2011

When I woke up on the first day of my softmore year of  school at San Paqual Academy I felt confused because I was not sure if I would be starting school. First off I went to the counseling office to see if my schedule would be ready and it was. Then, I missed my first and second class, but was ready for my 3rd-6th. Later I got home and talked to my staff about my first day of school. Toward the end of the day I went to relax and eat with my casa. At the end of  the day I took a shower and got out my clothes for school, then went to bed.
